Joyce Jacca is a founder of the Deptford People’s Heritage Museum. She is an international community development organiser with over 30 years experience. In addition to her work at the museum, Joyce is currently Health Inequalities Community Development Worker for PCN and founder of Future of Women International (FOWI), which supports and empowers women & groups in self-development. She is a former Evelyn ward Councillor, and is also a member of We Women.
Tracey Jarrett AKA Sister Jahsunray is a Community Development Worker & Community Activist Pan-Africanist. She is also founder & CEO of Shine Your Light, Training Consultant in Equality Diversity Inclusion (EDI) with special knowledge in Black Mental Matters, UK Racism, Gender Inequality, and Older People; delivering Bespoke and licensed training courses. She is also a Radio Show presenter on the Community Talk Show for Galaxy Radio Station and podcaster. She leads the study group on BLACK Autonomous Spaces.
Husseina Hamza is founder and chair of Red Ribbon Living Well, supporting people affected and living with HIV. She is a health justice activist, a Community Advocate and Peer Mentor. She is a volunteer at the Deptford People’s Heritage Museum and part of the project We are Here…We are On the Move, and co-leads the Andaiye Women’s Reading Group.
Dr Janna Graham is a researcher, organiser and curator focused on the struggles against spatial, institutional and psychosocial injustice. She is Senior Lecturer in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London, a member of sound collective Ultra-red, the group Infra-metropolitan systems and a researcher on The Monument is the Struggle focused on colonial and anti-colonial legacies in urban infrastructures.
Jorella Andrews is Professor Emeritus of Visual Cultures, Goldsmiths, University of London. As well as researching and writing, she facilitates arts-based community projects, and cares for an award-winning public green space in London. She is a researcher on the Deptford People’s Heritage Museum project We are Here…We are on the Move.
Bianca Santa Anna Caballero is a Brazilian journalist and visual cultures researcher. Her main interests are feminist curatorial practices, community engagement and storytelling.She is the Project Manager for The Monument is the Struggle at Deptford People’s Heritage Museum.
Chloe Murr is an artist and researcher from South East London. Her interests include contemporary art, urban ecology, and abolition geography. She is a volunteer at the Deptford People’s Heritage Museum.
Inaya Hussain is a filmmaker, radio host and organiser from South London. She is the digital content producer at Deptford People’s Heritage Museum.
